PLEDGE TO PRESERVE ISRAEL

There beside him stood the LORD, and he said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. Heartland to Heartland (H2H)

Heartland to Heartland is a bilateral organization bringing together Christians and Jews, in an alliance based on biblical values, to keep the biblical heartland of Israel, Judea and Samaria, under the sovereignty of the State of Israel, and so prevent the creation of an Arab terrorist state in the heart of the Holy Land. Heartland to Heartland believes that the Judeo-Christian values, which have their source in the Bible, are the foundation of the friendship and alliance between America and Israel. Heartland to Heartland is jointly managed from offices in Jerusalem and Washington D.C.

We are reaching the end game in the battle between Jews and Arabs for control of Israel's heartland. The current Israeli government has forced through the disengagement legislation for Gaza and Northern Samaria, and it is clear it is preparing to surrender the bulk of Judea and Samaria, as well. This is not the will of the people of Israel, who remain as faithful to their biblical covenant with God as they have through the ages.

Israel's only hope now is to rally the Christian faithful in America to petition President Bush, through Congress, to oppose the dismemberment of Israel and so keep faith with the biblical covenant between God and the Children of Israel.

Heartland to Heartland is dedicated to mobilizing grassroots Christian support for the proposition that Judea and Samaria are integral parts of the land granted to the Jewish people by God's covenant with the Children of Israel. America's Christians, and they alone, have the influence, through their representatives in the House and Senate, to give the President the backing he needs to resist international pressure and do what he would like to do in any event – prevent the creation of another terrorist state.

Through God's grace, the President and the Republican Party have won an unprecedented victory in the recent elections, which has made American support for the preservation of the territorial integrity of the State of Israel possible. God has given us the opportunity to keep faith with the biblical covenant. It remains only for the faithful to do their part.

WHEREAS I believe in the word of God as set out in the Holy Bible;

AND WHEREAS the Bible records that the Lord God granted the Holy Land, Israel, and its eternal capital Jerusalem, to the Jewish people as an inheritance forever;

AND WHEREAS this Covenant with Israel was proclaimed and marked at holy sites in Bethel, Hebron, Shechem, and Jerusalem, the heartland of Israel;

NOW THEREFORE, I HEREBY PLEDGE to act in accordance with the will of God to preserve Israel's sovereignty over the Holy Land and to prevent the alienation of Israel's biblical heartland, Judea and Samaria, and it's eternal capital Jerusalem, from the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

What can I do to fulfill my pledge?

1. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.

2. Call and write your congressman, senator, and President Bush.

3. Ask your pastor if he would speak about the pledge to your congregation

4. Write an article about the pledge for your Church bulletin.

5. Ask your pastor to sign the pledge on behalf of your Church.

6. Write a letter to the editor to your local newspaper.

7. Come visit Israel.

8. Make a donation to Heartland to Heartland.

9. Start a Heartland to Heartland chapter where you live.

10. Read “God's Covenant with Israel” by Benny Elon.

11. Discuss the pledge with family and friends.

12. Call and write your congressman, senator, and President Bush, again and ask what has been done.
